The Oxford Baby Bank operates on a referral system. If you are an individual who needs help, please contact your health visitor, who will contact us directly.
Midwives, health visitors, social workers, charity workers, GPs, local councillors and police in Oxford can all refer individuals in crisis or struggling financially and in need. Referring professionals are asked to collect items from the Baby Bank. Professionals from outside Oxford may refer (for professional pick-up only).
In emergency situations, we have limited capacity to drop-off within the Oxford ring road and adjacent areas, e.g. Barton, Littlemore etc. We will also do our best to deliver to the clients of midwives.
We do not stock foodstuffs, nor do we supply nappies.
Unfortunately, we cannot take self-referrals. If you would like to receive help from the Baby Bank, please do so via a professional such as a midwife, health visitor or social worker.
If you are a professional referring from outside of Oxford,
you may refer and pick up from us.
We do not stock foodstuffs, nor do we supply nappies.
