Our Referral System

The Oxford Baby Bank operates on a referral system. If you are an individual who needs help, please contact your health visitor, who will contact us directly.

Midwives, health visitors, social workers, charity workers, GPs, local councillors and police in Oxford can all refer individuals in crisis or struggling financially and in need. Referring professionals are asked to collect items from the Baby Bank. Social workers and health visitors from outside Oxford may refer (for pick-up only).

In emergency situations, we have limited capacity to drop-off within the Oxford ring road and adjacent areas, e.g. Barton, Littlemore etc. We will also do our best to deliver to the clients of midwives in this same area.

We do not stock foodstuffs, cuddly toys, or nappies.

Reminder: you will need to pick-up the items yourself (unless you are a midwife). Please only use this form to refer someone who needs our support. The details of the person being referred will not be held after collection.
