The Oxford Baby Bank operates on a referral system. If you are an individual who needs help, please contact your health visitor, who will contact us directly.
Midwives, health visitors, social workers, charity workers, GPs, local councillors and police in Oxford can all refer individuals in crisis or struggling financially and in need. Referring professionals are asked to collect items from the Baby Bank. Social workers and health visitors from outside Oxford may refer (for pick-up only).
In emergency situations, we have limited capacity to drop-off within the Oxford ring road and adjacent areas, e.g. Barton, Littlemore etc. We will also do our best to deliver to the clients of midwives in this same area.
We do not stock foodstuffs, cuddly toys, or nappies.
Sadly, we have lost our premises and are currently operating out of a storage unit until futher notice. During this time, we will be unable to accept donations.
If you are a frontline worker/professional looking to make a referral, we will endeavour to help. We might find it difficult to provide clothing, but if you require a high chair, stair gate, buggy or Moses basket, please continue to refer via the form.
We look forward to resuming our normal services when we have been able to secure new premises. Please get in touch if you have any questions!
